Key Scriptures: Philippians 2:5-11, 4:13; Romans 14:8-9; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; Romans 12:1-2; Matthew 3:17, 6:21 & 24; Acts 9:1-9 & Proverbs 4:23.

In the New Testament lordship is inseparably linked to the name of Jesus and was at the very heart of Jesus’ redemptive work on the cross. The word Lord means someone in supreme authority or master. Many believers have only received Christ as Saviour but it is an entirely different thing to accept Him as Lord. Someone once said that Jesus Christ is either Lord of all or not Lord at all!
May the very way we conduct ourselves in every area and aspect of our lives (both private and public) clearly show that Jesus Christ is indeed our Lord as we belong to Him alone and He has bought us with the most precious price, His own blood!
